Newmark is pleased to welcome Bryan Walsh, associate director, to the Global Healthcare Services team.
Bryan Walsh originally joined Newmark in 2010 as part of the Newmark Capital Markets group in the downtown Chicago office. Mr. Walsh focuses his efforts exclusively on the medical office and healthcare sector of the commercial real estate market, giving him comprehensive knowledge of the many nuances that impact this specialized niche.
“Bryan is a great asset to the company and our expanding GHS capital markets team. We are confident that he will help us serve our clients in the Midwest,” said Todd Perman, executive managing director of Global Healthcare Services. In the healthcare sector of real estate, the Midwest is a large market and we see a great deal of potential and opportunity to continue to impact the healthcare investment community and providers. Bryan will be focusing on business development and building relationships in a region of about 7 states.
Mr. Walsh primarily works with owners and developers of medical office buildings and healthcare facilities to assist them in the disposition of income producing assets within their portfolio. Since 2010, Mr. Walsh has been involved in the successful disposition of medical office buildings and healthcare facilities with a total value in excess of $150 million. Mr. Walsh graduated from the University of Illinois (Champaign – Urbana) with a B.A. in Finance with a concentration on Real Estate Investment.”
