How Telehealth is Changing Health Care

The surge in telehealth visits has largely been caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, but with the expansion of reimbursements to allow a variety of healthcare services through telehealth, it is here to stay. With technology changes and advancements allowing vitals and other data points to be collected remotely, healthcare systems and large independent providers are looking at how to position their telehealth services to maximize the value to their patients and the practice. Either way, with billing implemented by Medicare, the growth of telehealth services is inevitable.
