The acquisition included $250 million in cash and an additional $47 million committed for capital improvements. St. Francis Medical Center provides comprehensive healthcare services for the community in Lynwood, CA. These services include a primary stroke care center, a STEMI center, and counseling and resource centers. St. Francis Medical Center was a subsidiary of Verity Health System.
