Dana Hamric is Senior Managing Director of Global Healthcare Services at Newmark Knight Frank and leads national business development for the firm's U.S. healthcare capital markets business.
Global Healthcare Services is a specialized team that advises medical practices, health systems, institutions and developers on growth, capital and real estate strategy. Mr. Hamric and GHS have advised on transactions in excess of $1 billion recently.
Mr. Hamric advises physicians, health systems, investors and developers on comprehensive real estate strategies which include portfolio strategy, asset monetization, investment sales and development advisory to name a few. Mr. Hamric spends significant time providing thought leadership to physician-led organizations. His clients include some of the country's largest and most successful healthcare providers, developers and investment institutions in the U.S.
Mr. Hamric has held his position at Newmark Knight Frank since 2012, when he left his role as a healthcare real estate advisor with the healthcare and medical properties group at Grubb & Ellis. Prior to Grubb & Ellis, Mr. Hamric was an associate broker with Healthcare Real Estate Advisors, where he advised healthcare providers on real estate strategy. Prior to Healthcare Real Estate Advisors, Mr. Hamric was a principal of Univest Holdings, an Atlanta-based real estate investment company. During his tenure at Univest, he directly managed more than $30 million of the firm's real estate investments, which included retail, office, medical office, mixed-use and land development projects. His responsibilities included asset acquisitions, construction management, development, financing, leasing and sales for numerous projects in the Southeastern U.S.
